DevOps is a cultural transformation. That's it. It is not just a question of agile planning, automated tests and continuous delivery. These practises are, of course, crucial. DevOps culture means that developers and operators share a common understanding and share responsibility for software they have developed. This requires greater transparency, communication and cooperation across development, IT and business
What is IaaS?
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a cloud computing service that provides on-demand computation, storage, and networking resources on a pay-as-you-go basis. Along with software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and serverless, IaaS is one of four categories of cloud services.
DISCOVERY - Discovering and documenting all the components of your infrastructure as well as their relationships and dependencies is known as the process of discovery. You determine which applications or services you intend to migrate to the cloud platform during the discovery phase. Migrating a complete company is not a good idea, and is also not encouraged. As a result, the discovery phase is a critical phase for Migration.
PaaS, or Platform as a Service, is a set of cloud-based services that allow corporate users and developers to develop applications at a rate that on-premise solutions cannot match. Because it's a cloud-based service, users don't have to worry about server setup and maintenance, patching, upgrades, authentication, and so on; instead, they can focus on providing the best possible customer experience.
It's crucial to assess your migration readiness and develop the best strategy, as it is with any major and risky undertaking. This is where a Migration Readiness Assessment (MRA) comes in. It's a pre-migration strategy framework that gives you actionable insights into the true size and complexity of migration projects so that you can minimize the risks.
Togglr does an in-depth analysis on cloud readiness evaluation for inventory migration, which is a requirement for successfully deploying Cloud. Ideal methodologies are used to create inventory migration and Web application migration plans while gathering inventories of applications, storage footprints, servers, and databases.
