Our strategy and model has continuous data protection, giving in return a replicated VM data in the recovery site, which can be used to create offsite copies on a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly schedule. This protection involves zero production impact as there are no snapshots or agents on production. You can store these offsite long term copies efficiently on a disk or network share in a 3rd location, purpose-built-backup-appliance or even cost-effective cloud storage in IBM, AWS or Azure.

The offsite copies are taken from the replicated data, not production, ensuring no backup windows or snapshots are ever run against production in comparison to a traditional backup technology.

When creating recovery points, we ensure that all VMs share the exact same recovery point so that when the application is recovered every VM that comprises the application spins up from that same cross-application recovery point with a guarantee that it is within the infrastructure.

Our process is about maintaining consistency between applications and data for precise and predictable recovery. Recover files, VMs, applications and entire datacenters from seconds ago or up to 30 days, we have a constant log of all the changes users make to applications and data. As the changes are continuously written to the datastore, data protection delivers any point-in-time recoverability within a specified time frame.

This technology keeps a constant log of all the changes users make to applications and data. Because the changes are continuously written to the journal, it can deliver any point-in-time recoverability.
File Level Restore:
With journal file-level recovery, files or folders created minutes ago and deleted seconds ago are already recoverable using Journal File
Level Restore.
VM-level Consistency Group (VPGs):
They allow you to replicate and recover complex multi-VM applications as one cohesive unit to the exact same point in time whether recovery is from seconds ago to years.
